we went with my family and this was our first time trying southern american cuisine and this will definitely not be the last! the nola style louisiana jambalaya is TO DIE FOR! the chicken and andouille gumbo was also good and pretty similar but definitely a bigger fan of the jambalaya :) for an appy the blue crab beignets were perfection

Alligator Pear was a cute venue, where my boyfriend rented out the back room for a patty. It did seem a little empty outside the room when we arrived. Otherwise, the drinks were yummy and the bartenders were sweet.

My go-to pre-concert (or pre-game) spot to grab food that will fill me up, has a gorgeous/ spacious interior and drinks that pack a punch is #AlligatorPear , it's a quick walk to/from Madison Square Garden (also to the LIRR for us commuters). . I recently dined here with my brother before one of the Rangers games and here's what we had: - HH Brunson MVP (it's like a Moscow mule) - Hugo Spritz (much better than an Aperol Spritz) - Specialty Bourbon cocktail (made to order) - 1 Alligator Sausage (so delicious and delicate) - 1 Arancini (yummy & has truffle) - 1 Blackened Salmon (cooked perfectly) - 1 The Spicy Calabrian (not as spicy as expected but absolutely delicious) - 1 Sweet Beignets - 1 Crème Brûleé Cheesecake (my bro loved it) . The service was on-point (shout out to our server Michael for helping us decide on what to order and for putting us on to the #HugoSpritz ). That's totally my new drink of the summer. . I'll definitely be back for more pre-game dining and for brunch.

Social media got me here but the decor and vibes def made an impact. I found this place on a foodie's IG post and I bookmarked it for a while. A Pulsd deal came up and I HAD to grab it. It's an amazing deal - worth every dollar. It comes with a bottle of wine, an app, two entrees, and a dessert. There aren't many waiters/waitresses so it took some time in between each dish but it's fine - we were able to enjoy each other's company and take our sweet time. Very easy and straight forward service and menu and each dish was good. We got the tuna tartare, the blackened salmon, the spicy calabrian pasta, creme brulee cheesecake, and a bottle of cava. Tuna Tartare: It was fine but I would not order again. Chips were stale but the amount of tuna and avocado was suffice. Appreciated the amount of lime, seasoning, and radish accoutrement. Blackened Salmon: Came with roasted tomatoes and potatoes, salad, and béarnaise sauce. The salmon was moist and the skin was crispy. Lemon was grilled and added a lot of zest. The potatoes and tomatoes were at a great balance and carb proponent to the dish. Creme Brulee Cheesecake: Amazing. Came with salted caramel ice cream which balanced the sweet and dense nature of a cheesecake. Overall, worth a visit. Would come again!
